Refund Policy

1. Scope
This Refund Policy explains when refunds for paid subscriptions and one-time purchases on AI Stream Jobs (the "Service") may be granted, and how to request one. It supplements §4 of the Terms of Service, which remains the binding billing agreement; if the two documents conflict, the Terms of Service control.
Merchant of Record. Payments for the Service are processed by Sold through Link, LLC (f/k/a Lemon Squeezy, LLC, and operating as "Lemon Squeezy"), our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy — not Næxt AI — issues refunds, processes chargebacks, and remits VAT/sales tax. We review and approve eligible refund requests under this policy and then ask Lemon Squeezy to process the refund on your original payment method; you may also contact Lemon Squeezy directly using the contact details on your Lemon Squeezy receipt.
We don't offer refunds for change of mind beyond what's described below. Plans are billed in advance and are designed to be cancellable, not retroactively refundable.

3. Free Trial
The Free Trial is offered at no cost. Because no payment is taken, there's nothing to refund.
If you upgrade to a paid plan after the Trial, the paid plan is governed by §4 (paid plans, monthly and quarterly) and §6 (EU withdrawal) below.
4. Paid plans — monthly and quarterly
You can cancel any paid plan at any time from Settings → Plans & pricing. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund a billing cycle that has already started.
- Monthly plans: when you cancel, your access continues through the end of the current paid month, and we don't issue a partial refund for the unused portion of that month.
- Quarterly plans: quarterly billing is prepaid for 3 months and may be discounted relative to monthly billing. If you cancel before the 3 months are up, your access continues through the end of the prepaid period and we don't issue a partial refund. The quarterly discount reflects the upfront commitment, so a partial refund would defeat the trade.
If you want to switch plans (upgrade or downgrade), change the plan in Settings → Plans & pricing. Plan switches do not generate refunds — the new plan begins on the next renewal cycle.
5. Budget top-ups
Top-up packs (currently $5 or $10) extend your monthly LLM-spend budget for the current billing period. Once a top-up is purchased, it is non-refundable, including if you don't end up using all of the budget it bought. Top-up balances do not roll over to future periods.
If a top-up purchase fails to credit your budget due to a system error on our side, contact us under §8 How to request a refund and we'll either re-credit the budget directly or ask Lemon Squeezy to refund the charge — your choice.
6. EU consumers — 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are an EU consumer (you live in the EU and are buying for personal, non-business use), the Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU) gives you a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason. This applies to your first paid sign-up for a given subscription plan.
Two things to know:
- Performance during the 14 days waives a portion of the refund: if you ask us to start providing the Service during the 14-day window (which by default we do, as soon as you upgrade), you remain entitled to withdraw — but you may be required to pay for the part of the Service already provided, calculated on a pro-rata basis. That means a partial refund, not a full one.
- Fully consumed digital content waives the right entirely: if at sign-up you (a) explicitly consented to immediate provision of the digital service AND (b) acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been performed, the right of withdrawal does not apply. Our sign-up flow is designed to capture this consent and acknowledgement; if it does, this clause governs.
To exercise the right of withdrawal during the 14-day window, contact us per §8 How to request a refund within 14 days of your first paid sign-up; you may also contact Lemon Squeezy directly using the contact details on your Lemon Squeezy receipt. The refund will be issued by Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method, within 14 days of the request being accepted.
Outside the EU, no statutory right of withdrawal applies — the Free Trial covers the "try before you buy" need.
7. Service errors and billing mistakes
If any of the following happens, we'll confirm or decline eligibility within 3 business days and — when eligible — ask Lemon Squeezy (as Merchant of Record) to refund the charge to your original payment method. Lemon Squeezy then processes the refund, typically within 7 days. Timing of the credit appearing on your statement depends on your card issuer (usually an additional 5–10 business days).
- We charged you the wrong amount (e.g. quarterly billed at monthly's rate, or a top-up debited twice).
- We charged you after you cancelled.
- The Service was materially unavailable (extended outage, broken feature you paid for) for a meaningful portion of your billing cycle.
- We terminated your account in a way that violates our Terms of Service §10.
Genuine usage that didn't yield the result you wanted (e.g. the AI's draft wasn't what you hoped for) is not a service error — that's how AI-assisted tools work, and the Free Trial exists so you can evaluate output quality before paying.
8. How to request a refund
You can contact either of us:
Option A — contact us first (recommended). Email support@aistreamjobs.com with:
- The email address on your AI Stream Jobs account.
- The Lemon Squeezy order or transaction ID (you can find it on the receipt Lemon Squeezy emailed you, or in
Account → Billing). - Which clause of this policy you're invoking (e.g. "billing error", "EU 14-day right of withdrawal", "service unavailability").
- A short description of the issue.
We aim to respond within 3 business days. If your request is eligible, we'll ask Lemon Squeezy to issue the refund; Lemon Squeezy then processes the refund to the original payment method.
Option B — contact Lemon Squeezy directly. Because Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record, you can request a refund directly from Lemon Squeezy without going through us. Use the contact details on the Lemon Squeezy receipt for your order. Lemon Squeezy may grant a refund at its sole discretion within 14 days of a one-off transaction or within 14 days of your last subscription renewal; outside that window, Lemon Squeezy will normally refer the request back to us.
9. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us per §8 How to request a refund, or contact Lemon Squeezy directly, before filing a chargeback. Legitimate billing errors can usually be resolved within a few days — faster than the chargeback process, and without the dispute fees that Lemon Squeezy would otherwise pass through to us.
Filing a chargeback before contacting us or Lemon Squeezy, or filing one after a refund has been issued, may result in your account being suspended pending investigation.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and through Account → Privacy (or its equivalent at the time). The "Last updated" date at the top of this document indicates when the most recent change took effect. Refund requests are evaluated against the version of this policy in effect at the time of your purchase.
